We are currently in need of a nurse for the evening and night group.

In our operations, you will work alongside several other professionals to ensure good and safe care for our patients. We have facilities for somatic care, psychiatry, care for people with disabilities, short-term care, dementia care units, and palliative care. Our operations are divided into geographical areas: South, West, East, and North.

Your contribution as a nurse

Your duties include making medical assessments, performing planned and emergency measures, managing medications, guiding and developing the operation. You will work and move throughout Sundsvall Municipality during the evening and night, in elderly care homes, home healthcare, LSS housing, social psychiatry housing, palliative team patients, and urgent cases from 1177. You will lead the nursing work in consultation with the patient and other professionals and caregivers. It is required that you have a pleasant demeanor with everyone you meet in your work and good collaboration skills. The work requires both decisiveness and analytical thinking.

We offer you:

  • Work during the evening 15:00-23:30 and night 22:15-07:30, as well as 2 weekends out of 6.
  • You create your own desired schedule, approximately 20 shifts with at least 2 nights and at least 5 evenings over 6 weeks.
  • 80% work on-site, patient close, and 20% administrative time from home.
  • Individual competence development.

  • Extra vacation days when you turn 40.
  • Membership in Sundsvall Municipality's recreational association.

Your skills and experience

We are looking for someone with a nursing license approved by the National Board of Health and Welfare. You should have worked at least 2 years as a nurse; district nurse experience is an advantage.

You should be confident in your professional role in making assessments and enjoy working independently. You collaborate with colleagues, nursing staff, and other professionals in a pleasant and professional manner.

A driving license (B) is a requirement for this position, and you should be an experienced driver.

You are passionate about development and want to influence and find new exciting ways of working for the benefit of our patients.

You have good experience with IT-based journal systems and can express yourself well in spoken and written Swedish.
